Through these &#8220;windows&#8221; visitors could\u00a0peak\u00a0into the different realms of the artists; the\u00a0violent, the idealized or the\u00a0nostalgic. Three jurors selected a winner from twelve nominees in a \u201cstrict search for excellence,\u201d emphasized Jane Nokes, Director of Scotiabank Archives, Corporate Record and Fine Art Collection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSC_0588.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter photographs of North America.\u00a0\u00a0Upon receiving the award, the artist was speechless, saying that it was \u201creally cool\u201d and promised to make \u201clots of good work\u201d with the
