From seasoned collectors and first-time art buyers, to gallery dealers and interior designers, visitors can explore and discover works of art from over 250 top contemporary artists from Canada and abroad. This is a unique opportunity to meet and buy art directly from artists at Toronto\u2019s most celebrated contemporary art fair.<\/p>\n

The Artist Project celebrates its 7th year with another exciting show from February 20 to 23, 2014 at the Better Living Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto.<\/p>\n

Opening Night Party (19+ Event): Thursday, February 20, 2014 \/\u00a07 \u2013 11p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With a theme of \u201cSET SAIL\u201d, this event is a nod to the retro-nautical look of the 1940s. Get an airbrush tattoo by Black Line Studios \u2014 Listen to the beats of DJ Vinny Gr\u00fcvhunter and DJ J-Lah \u2014 Check out fashion art installation: MeU!<\/p>\n

\u201cCIBC is thrilled to be presenting the Opening Night Party at the Artist Project 2014. It allows us a chance to support some wonderful artists along with the evening\u2019s charities, Why We Ink and the Canadian Cancer Society.\u201d ~ Sarah Widmeyer, Managing Director, Head Wealth Advisory Services, CIBC<\/p>\n

A portion of this night\u2019s ticket sales will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society support services on behalf of Why We Ink.<\/p>\n

Why We Ink is dedicated to celebrate those with memorial and survival tattoos for cancer. A special exhibition of photographs will be exhibited at The Artist Project.<\/p>\n

Fashion Art Installation: \u201cMeU: Displaying Information on the Body\u201d presented by artist Robert Tu and curated by Vandana Taxali.<\/p>\n

UNTAPPED Emerging Artists Competition<\/strong> \/ The Artist Project is dedicated to supporting the development of emerging artists. Selected from hundreds of applications, 20 of the country\u2019s best up-and-coming artists are invited to showcase their work for FREE!<\/p>\n

Discover new talent and add a rising star to your collection. Visitors to the show can also vote for their favourite UNTAPPED artist who will win a free booth in 2015!<\/p>\n

There will be Art Chats, Art Tours and other programs.<\/p>\n
