Since then it has blossomed into a weekend-long festival of creativity and community. Our goal is to celebrate and cultivate the unique character, diversity and ethos of Parkdale and Queen West \u2013 a natural habitat for individual artists, arts organizations, artist run centres and businesses that promote art and culture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2013 marks the 11th anniversary of the Queen West Art Crawl<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Come on down and enjoy the festivities along Queen Street West from Bathurst to Roncesvalles, taking place from September 21 &#8211; 22. Purchase a great work of art from one of our 250+ jury-selected artists at the <strong>Outdoor Art Show and Sale in Trinity-Bellwoods Park<\/strong>, or take part in a walking tour and attend a talk by one of our featured guest speakers. There are plenty of art events for crawlers of all ages, from the family-friendly <strong>KidsZone<\/strong>, to the edgy and innovative <strong>Parkdale Nightcrawl<\/strong>. Don\u2019t miss out on all the action!<\/p>\n<p>The 11th annual <strong>Outdoor Art Show &amp; Sale<\/strong> will take place at Trinity Bellwoods Park on <strong>Saturday, September\u00a021 to Sunday, September 22, from 11 am \u2013 6 pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main hub of the Queen West Art Crawl, the OASS is a two-day juried art exhibition featuring over 250\u00a0artists, food vendors, community booths, an exciting entertainment stage and our family friendly Kidz Zone.<\/p>\n<div><strong>The Parkdale Nightcrawl:<\/strong> <strong>Saturday, September 21,\u00a08 pm \u00a0&#8211; 12 am\u00a0<\/strong>offers multiple levels of interaction for artists and patrons during an exciting night of innovative, immersive art exploration. The Nightcrawl reflects our ongoing commitment to events which allow visual arts and the performing arts to intersect, meld and inspire one another. The Parkdale Nightcrawl invites and encourages participation. At the Parkdale Nightcrawl events you will be able to create or interact with art in a number of unique and memorable ways depending on the theme of each venue.
