Call for Submissions: The Sculptors Society of Canada 14th Juried Emerging Sculptors Exhibition<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Sculptors Society of Canada (SSC) invites artists for\u00a0its 14th Juried Emerging Sculptors Exhibition<\/span><\/p>\n

Date:<\/strong> August 15 – September 6, 2013<\/span><\/p>\n

Opening Reception<\/strong> followed by Awards Presentation, August 15, 6:30pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each year the SSC sponsors an exhibition featuring works by emerging sculptors in all media. It is open for Canadian residents only.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sculptors Society of Canada<\/strong> (SSC) is solely dedicated to the education, promotion and exhibition of contemporary Canadian sculpture. Founded by some of the most prestigious sculptors in Canadian art history, the Sculptors Society of Canada has been exhibiting and raising the profile of sculpture in Canada for more than 75 years. The mandate of this Society is firmly established by a collective belief in education, partnership, cooperation and support – representing a commitment to educate the public and community at large regarding sculpture, to discover and foster young talent, to raise the profile of Canadian sculpture and to rally and encourage sculptors working at a professional level.<\/span><\/p>\n
