Photo: Phil Anderson<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The official Launch of Luis Jacob s Spirits of the Grotto at the Dufferin Underpass took place May 18 5:30pm with politicans, City of Toronto councillors Gord Perks and Ana Bailao, MPP Cheri DiNovo, MP Peggy Nash and other City Official from the Culture Department.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Opening-Luis-Jacob.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-11209\" title=\"Opening Luis Jacob\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Opening-Luis-Jacob.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"313\" height=\"235\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 Zuly Jacob (Luis&#8217; s mother), Peggy Nash (Member of Parliament), Luis Jacob and Jose Jacob, (Luis&#8217;s father). Photo: Phil Anderson<\/p>\n<p>Many interested residents and friends of Luis Jacob as well as media were also in attendance. The long awaited opening of this public art work was worth the waiting. The Dufferin Underpass is to be the envy of other areas of Toronto with underpasses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Spirits-of-the-Grotto.3-jpg.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10907\" title=\"SONY DSC\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Spirits-of-the-Grotto.3-jpg.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>The \u201cSpirits of the Grotto\u201d, Dufferin Underpass.
