His whimsical interpretations of social and cultural implications painted on the surface of pieces of wallpaper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Sadko_2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10813\" title=\"Sadko_2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Sadko_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"263\" \/><\/a>Installation view<\/p>\n<p>Sadko\u2019s painted extensive portraiture based body of works is well embedded within the background of toile de Jouy and it also was gleaming\u00a0 with juxtaposition to put them together as a whole. It is also fun to peek at the humor of the artist through finding several contemporary details hidden in his works such as sunglasses and an electronic razor contrasted within the atmosphere created by the antique wallpapers and the reference of historical event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Sadko_3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10814\" title=\"Sadko_3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artoronto.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Sadko_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"263\" \/><\/a>Installation view with visitors<\/p>\n<p>Sadko Hadzihasanovic was born in 1959 in Bihac, Bosnia. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Bosnia, achieved MFA at University of Belgrade, Serbia and immigrated to Toronto in 1993. Hadzihasanovic has participated in over sixty exhibitions in various galleries all over Canada. He is a multimedia artist who often works with acrylic and oil on silk screen prints, and found objects.
